In the news for March......
GIVE BIG: It is almost time for GIVE BIG! It will be held the last weekend of April. GIVE BIG is a project organized and sponsored by the Senior High Youth Group. During the last GIVE BIG, workers mended and built fences, painted tgarages, painted inside rooms, cleared yard debris, built wheel chair ramps, and even replaced a dangerous, rotting deck with a new one. Volunteers are needed. There really is a job for everyone! Please don't assume you are too old or otherwise not able to help. We not only need job site workers, we need people to run errands, prepare and serve meals, prepare and deliver snacks, and even people to take pictures. We are also looking for project locations. If you know of anyone who needs work done, please take a form from the Hospitality Center. For more information, contact Robert Moreland, Bill Barrett, Karen Daniel, Bob Koch, Kim Merkel, or Tracy Kolb.
Hacienda Give-back: On March 10, all day, you can treat yourself, family, and friends to a meal at Hacienda on Pearl Drive to support the Youth Mission Trip. They will give us a percentage of the day’s receipts which have the coupon to the right attached. So please cut them out, make copies,
hand them out to everyone, so we can reach our fundraising goal. More coupons are available at church. Thank you very much and enjoy your meal!!
AGAPE Meal: On Wednesday, March 24, at 6:00 p.m. we will join together for a wonderful meal prepared by our Ladies Aid. Following the meal, we will have a short devotional and Holy Communion. Plan to attend this wonderful Lenten tradition. Watch for a sign up sheet at the Hospitality Center.
The Ladies’ Aid COOKBOOKS have arrived!! We will start selling them on Sunday, February 28, after the first service in the area of the Hospitality Center. The price is only $12.00 for this collection of recipes from St. Paul’s members, friends, and relatives, and our staff.
You will want to purchase your copy early because we
do have a limited amount to sell.
