In the news for January......
Annual Meeting of the Congregation: on Sunday, January 24th, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. We will be electing six new folks to our Church Council, as well as thanking those who have served us faithfully. Those “retiring” after three years on Council are: Betty Barning, Gerard Buente, Debbie Kerns, Kathy Vonderahe, Jeff Bosley, Shawn Heneisen. We will also be adopting the budget for 2010, as well as dealing with other items of congregational business. Hope to see you there.
ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE - March 20, 2010 Now that the holidays are over perhaps you will be going through your closets, basements and garages and will want to part with some of your “stuff.” If so, please bring it to church for our Triangle Class Rummage Sale. Anything is acceptable! If you cannot wait until the week of March 15th to bring your items for the sale, we will accept them starting January 18th -- just bring them during regular office hours and put them on the stage behind the curtain. Also, when you are doing your grocery shopping and have the choice between plastic and paper bags, please request paper bags -- the large brown ones with handles -- and save them for our sale. Any questions, please call Erlene Dreier at 424-4537 or Millie Barrett at 985-2261. Thank you!
Remember to bring in your used cell phones, chargers, or batteries. The troops still need the phone cards. THANK YOU!! Tell your neighbors, friends, relatives, co-workers to give us their old phones. Spread the word! St. Paul’s is the only collection place in Evansville.
